ARE ALL MATERIALS DRILLED AT THE SAME SPEED?

No, different types of material require drilling at different paces.

Naturally, it takes longer to get through a denser, harder material. Therefore if you are drilling metal, it is going to be slower than if you are drilling wood.

For more details about the exact speed for drilling materials, please check out our guides to give yourself a better idea of how to attempt the job.

Different speeds may also be needed for specialized drill bits. Study the user manual with your drill properly before commencing use with it.

WHAT CAN I USE A HAND HELD CIRCULAR SAW TO CUT?

Pretty much anything can be cut by a hand held circular saw – you just need to get the correct blade for it.

However, a circular saw is meant to be a quick and exact way of slicing something with straight cutting motions. Larger hand held circular saws may be difficult or risky to operate, so take care.
